2nd Attachment (updated)

Day 1

~BORING ~

~ TIRING ~

yeah.. 2 words to conclude my day..

it's been so long since I last woke up at 630am..

TIRED.. yawning in the hospital...

but better then my friends,

they slept on the sofa..

XD

lunch time food was....

unsatisfying...

should have drove back to CHS to have cheap lunch..

LOL

too baaaad.. I'm not driving..

BUT

at least i learnt something lar..

at least i got some exposure again...

AT LEAST

not looking forward for tmr...

cz v'll stay in the same department..

Day 2

was placed in the same ward again..

but got to walk around exploring UM

goshhh...

so damn big..

walk here n there...

visited pediatric ward, psychiatric ward orthopedic ward...

something...i didn't do in my last attachment..xD

saw an albino baby in the pediatric ward...

yeah..like what written in the text book...xD

round eyes...white skins...blonde hair...

pityful kid..

didnt really walk into the psychiatric ward..

the nurse dont let..

but we managed to look inside..from the entrance...

quite freaky tho...@.@

witnessed some procedure today as well...

not sure why they are doing this and that tho...

haha

witnessed a case where the docs cant help doing anything anymore...

=(

heartfelt..

the patient was still okay yesterday...

but not today...

the docs discharged him and let him home...

spend his remaining hours with families...

aww...

conclusion for today...

not too bad..

Day 3

Placed in Geriatric Ward today...

where the doctors treat with diseases and illness due to aging

such as Alzheimer Disease, Parkinson's Disease etc

witnessed some memory test the doctors gave to the patients

some really cant remember a single thing

some dont even know what they are doing

kinda pityful

but the staffs are well trained..!

patient..!

solute them... =)

Day 4

Placed in surgical ward today...

where the post surgery patients are placed...

sister in this ward was helpful

assigned us to a doctor

who bring us around

we even managed to join a group of medical students

who are doing their clinical years

attended on of their lecture...

lol

topic was related to urology...

sounds interesting...

xD

Conclusion:

Although it started not satisfying...

but i didnt regret applying to be attached to this hospital

exposed to another side of a doctor's life

and i think that's what i want

and hopefully everything goes smoothly...

results will be out in 2 weeks time
